What a beautiful little piece of writing. George felt so very authentic to me: his overthinking, his limiting core beliefs that he isn't worthy enough for someone like Charity, and his need to appear "cool" with the outcome, no matter what it might be. I love stories like this; stories that illustrate human vulnerability at its finest. Bravo!
