I have read two CoHo books and I won’t read any more. I found her books books romanticize abusive and problematic relationships, and in the case of It Ends With Us, Lily is saved by another man, instead of saving herself. Also, the book ends with the abuser having rights to his baby daughter, and with Lily being all for that. I’m sorry, but that’s not how it works in most DV cases, and to suggest otherwise is dangerous and misleading.
