I feel this so deeply and I am sorry you are going through this. My own mother had dementia, survived a heart attack, 2 broken hips, and a broken elbow in the last 4 years of her life. She spent most of that time scared, angry, frustrated, and confused. I was her sole caregiver until the last three months. She died at 95. Honestly, I was convinced she would outlive me.
